About Us

Since 2014, Exo Environmental has been providing consultancy services for integrated sediment and water management with an emphasis on ecology and sustainability. We view the freshwater and marine environment in a holistic way where water, sediment and ecology are intrinsically linked. We therefore provide a wide range of services including Bathymetry Surveys, Water Quality Surveying, Dredging Consultancy, Environmental Consultancy, Habitat Restoration and more as well as our work in GeoBlock® in collaboration with our sister company Exo Engineering.

To provide our clients with the best quality work, we draw on the latest research, technology, and expertise available from across the UK and Europe. By attending and participating in international conferences, seminars and working groups, we ensure that we can provide clients with practical value engineering solutions and independent advice. We work with clients to support them across all stages of project management from concept to execution including:

The name ‘Exo’ is short for exogenetic processes: a collective term for the natural processes that shape the Earth’s surface.

Examples of these processes are all types of weathering and erosion, but now more than ever we are seeing people shaping the Earth’s surfaces. We know that the work we do must be sustainable and most beneficial for both people and the planet.
